The website has been designed with accessibility in mind and a number of features have been built into the system to allow access to all pages of the site directly from the home page without the use of the mouse. The facility has also been included to adjust the text size of the site.
Adjusting the Text Size:
The text size used throughout the site is easily increased or decreased using the controls on the front page of the site. Depending upon the text size you want, click the respective control on the top right hand side of the site and select either
for smaller sized text,
for medium sized text or
for large size text. The site will remember your text size choices as you move between pages.
Changing your text size in Microsoft Internet Explorer:
1. Select 'Text Size' from the 'View' menu.
2. Select from the list of predefined text sizes raning from 'Largest' to 'Smallest'
Changing your text size in Mozilla:
1. Select 'Text Size' from the 'View' menu.
2. Select 'Increase Font' or 'Decrease Font' to adjust the font size accordingly.
Alternatively you can adjust your text size in many browsers by holiding down the 'Ctrl' key (PC) and using your mouse scroll wheel to increase or decrease your text size.
Keyboard Shortcuts (Access Keys)
This website includes integrated keyboard shortcuts, known as Access Keys, to allow quick access to pages and provide quick and easy navigation for users without a mouse. These access keys are all triggered from the front or home page of the site.
