Former Top 100 Lawyer of the Year (The Lawyer 2003), Ann Page is well placed to offer strategic coaching to fellow lawyers. In over 28 years in the legal industry Ann has held senior positions at Citibank, Crest Homes, Next plc, National & Provincial Building Society (now Abbey) and The Co-operative Bank.
This has resulted in a unique combination of legal and management experience, the ability to professionally develop legal staff using competencies to fulfil their potential and to provide cost effective legal services.
Ann has 16 years experience in providing competency based development programmes for Lawyers.
During her career Ann has devised and implemented first class internal CRM programmes that achieved above 94% satisfaction rating.
On leaving The Co-operative Bank in 2003, Ann joined Law Book Consulting (now LBC wise counsel) as Training Director. Early in 2005, Ann founded Beyond the Brief – the professional development training company for lawyers.
Ann has extensive knowledge of the issues faced by the legal profession and its members. She is a prominent speaker and writer on legal issues and professional development for lawyers. She is a passionate, active participant in the current changes affecting her professional body and proactively contributes to the future development and shape of things to come. She has appeared on the professional services channel talking about managing external lawyers.
Ann is also Head of Business Affairs for the Institute of Paralegals, is a member of the Committee for the Law Society Council Membership.
Ann is a certified NLP Practitioner.

Ann has been involved with the Law Society National Commerce & Industry Group for 15 years in a variety of regional and national roles. She chaired the Group between March 2002 and September 2003, during which time she initiated many firsts for the Group.
Ann has just co-authored a book with Richard Tapp – Managing External Legal Resources.
